A registered company, The Fertility Medication Centre was set up as a socially responsible and ethical organisation which believes that every patient undergoing fertility treatment should be able to obtain the medication for their fertility treatment at an affordable price and thereby making it more accessible.
Yes, we can dispense original prescriptions from countries in the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland.
We can accept prescriptions from the following countries:
Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Republic of Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK.
In addition to the usual UK requirements, prescriptions from the EEA must give the prescriber’s full first name, surname, professional qualifications and direct contact details including email address, telephone or fax, and work address. We’ll confirm the prescriber’s registration status before dispensing.
Legally, we can only dispense medicines with a UK product licence.
Delivery
Once a valid prescription is approved, a member of the Customer Care team will contact you prior to delivery to agree the delivery address; deliveries must be signed for and can be made to home, workplace or other suitable address; and agree the delivery day and time.
Delivery charges are as follows:
Standard delivery charge £65.00 (Including Saturdays)
If any of your items need to be stored in the refrigerator, these will arrive in separate packaging to your ambient items. Cold-chain items can be easily identified as they will either arrive in a blue bag that states ‘STORE IN FRIDGE’ or they will be in a box with tape that states ‘URGENT REFRIGERATE ON RECEIPT’.
Cold-chain items should be unpacked from the box as soon as possible and placed in a refrigerator at a temperature between +2°C and +8°C. It is very important that the items are not frozen.
Should we need to use a third-party courier, your cold-chain items will arrive in a validated cold-chain box, which needs to be unpacked and refrigerated on receipt of delivery.
In certain circumstances, e.g. for deliveries to a work place, where it is not practical to place the items into a fridge straightaway, you should leave the items in the unopened cool box and unpack them when you get home. The items will remain at the correct temperature for up to 12 hours after delivery.
UK legislation prevents us from accepting back for re-use any medication that has left our control. Therefore, we’re not able to offer refunds for the return of unwanted or unused medication. If you have any medicines needing disposal, please take them to your local pharmacy.
To maintain confidentiality your medication will be packed into plain packaging and will have no indication of its contents. If the parcel contains refrigerated items, this can be identified by one of the following:
- It will arrive in a blue bag that states ‘STORE IN FRIDGE’
- It will arrive in a box with tape that states ‘URGENT REFRIGERATE ON RECEIPT
Once the box is opened, there will be a clear bag with a sticker that states:
‘Contains refrigerated item
On receipt remove from packaging and store in a fridge between +2°C and +8°C.
Do not freeze.’
Medications are normally dispatched within 48 hours.
Your medication can be delivered to a home or work address, your treatment clinic or a suitable place to be agreed.
Following receipt of payment, we will advise the organisation being used to deliver and dispense your medication, of the date and address you have advised us for delivery. They will be aware of your delivery date preference but in order to avoid instances of where medication has been dispensed and there is no one available to receive it ( as once dispensed it cannot be used by another Party ) they always as a matter of policy call you the afternoon before the actual delivery date to reconfirm timing and delivery address for the next day as no refunds can be given once dispensed. If the Organisation do not contact you on that afternoon by 2PM or you miss their calls we will have provided you with their Customer Team contact numbers clearly highlighted in several communications to you prior to the delivery date. The deadline to reconfirm delivery for the next day is 4 p.m so it is most important that you have communicated with the organisation before this time as if not you may not get your medication delivered on the day you selected and additional costs will be charged for redelivery.( please see section “ what if I am out when my delivery arrives “ ). So please ensure that you or your Representative are present at the address and on the day, agreed with you for delivery as we wish for you to start your journey on time and with peace of mind.
It is most important that you or your representative are at the address you have given us for Delivery purposes on the day agreed with you for delivery. Should you or your representative not be there on the agreed day then we will attempt to contact you to arrange delivery for another day. However if the failed delivery is not the fault of our Courier there will be additional costs of rebooking the Courier, internal administration costs due to the failed delivery and potentially additional Medication costs e.g for any refrigerated items that go out of temperature control . It is most important to also read the section on “ Delivery Arrangements for your Medication and their importance “ so as to ensure a smooth and non-delayed start to your Cycle.
